Thanks Website Friends for helping name my newest mouser. I received several names. And the winner is TIGGER. I think the name is very fitting for him.

Well Saturday night started off to be a relaxing evening. So Mitch and I decided to go to the drive inn theater to see Despicable Me, but it was sold out so we watch Twilight Eclipes. After the movie while on my way home in the new baby van I had to swerve to miss two yellow labs. I could not leave them running in the middle of Spaulding, so I called them back, put them in the van and took them home. They had been running along time because the paws were bleeding. I nursed them and fed them. I put them in the back yard and went to bed. The older of the dogs the female started howling at 3 am. I didn’t think my neighbors would appreciate that so I came down and slept on the kitchen floor. As long as she was able to see me she was quiet. I placed an ad on Craigslist hoping the owners would check there. Most of the day went by and I was not looking forward to another camp out on my kitchen floor. Then around four the phone rang and it was the owner. He came over and picked up the dogs. Turns out the female dogs is named Morgan, I never found out the name of the boy. I asked the owner why he did not have a name tag on them; he said they can’t keep them on the dogs. Hum I thought something should work a lot of people lose their dogs forever because of no tags. Morgan and her friend were lucky and found their way home. It always seems the adventure finds me in the strangest ways. So if you have animals tag them with a contact number so you can get your pet back.

Mitch gave me a present last week!

A French Bulldog named Bosco well his old name was Napoleon but it’s too long to say. His owner met us at the Friday night drags. A few days later he dropped Bosco off. He is two years old and his owner is in the military and is going to Germany. Seems Germany doesn’t allow dogs with the word Bull in the genes pit-bull, bulldogs, bull terrier, etc. So he needed a home. He put it on craigslist and only received calls from dog breeders. He didn’t want Bosco to live with a breeder. So I am now the proud owner of Bosco. He is very mellow and doesn’t bother the cats, which Olly enjoys. He has a cough type bark when he needs to go outside. He snores when he sleeps, and he sleeps a lot. I think he will be a great addition to my animal kingdom ).

I have a new addition to my mouser team. I NEED HELP naming him. He is about 3 months old and was a stray found out in the Mesa area. He is white on his underside and creamy white with orange strips on top. He is very smart and loves to play. He needs a name. Please Help!

Hello everyone, I wanted to share with you how much fun I had at the 4th of July Celebration held in Pueblo West. There were so many people that attended. It was great!

American Wiping Rags 1970 Time Machine was unveiled at the 26^th Annual Hot Rod Nationals this past weekend. I have never had a booth in this show before and I have to say it was an experience I will always remember.

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello and to see my newly customized 1970 Time Machine Van. Mitch Diamond and the guys from Diamond Auto Craft did such a wonderful job on it. I hope to be back for the 27^th annual show.

The American Wiping Rags Baby Van is painted and it looks fantastic!

Now it’s going back together. Seats, carpet, door panels and tires are all being put back on. Check out the pictures and you’re invited to see the van in person at the 26^th Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals which will be held for 3 big days June 25^th, 26th, & 27^th. At the Colorado State Fair Grounds, located at 950 S. Prairie Ave. (Corner of Prairie and Northern).Gates are open Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 Saturday from 8:00 to 5:00 and Sunday from 8:30 to 2:00.

American Wiping Rags visits the Western Heritage Days

AWR visited the Western Heritage Days that was held in Canon City at The Abbey on June 4,5,6th. I watched these bulls walk around the grass. I was able to pet them and take pictures. The wolfs were brought by the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Foundation. www.rockymountainwildlifefoundation.com check out there website any donations are welcome. I had a great time walking around and talking to people.
